Lenovo Z5s to be launched in three colour variants, images revealed ahead of launch

Lenovo Z5s is expected to launch in a couple of days but ahead of the event, the company has revealed the device’s rear panel and the various colour options it will launch in. As per the images, the handset will launch in three colour models: Coral Orange, Quite Blue and Starry Night. While Starry Night is basically the standard black colour model, the Quite Blue variant is said to reflect colours of a rainbow when viewed from a certain angle and the Coral Orange is Pantone’s colour of the year for 2019. The Coral Orange colour variant of the phone is supposed to feature a gradient orange shade.  The images also show off the Lenovo Z5s’ triple rear camera setup, which is quite similar in design to the Huawei P20 Pro. The three cameras are vertically stacked with two of them in the same enclosure, while the third one on the bottom sits almost flush with the rear panel. Lenovo has not yet revealed the camera configuration, but it is expected to feature a regular sensor, an ultra-wide sensor and a telephoto sensor along with a dual-tone flash. The rear-mounted fingerprint sensor can also be seen on the back. Previously, the company had posted an image where the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor could not be seen clearly, which sparked the rumour of the phone sporting an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, now it’s clear that this is not the case.  Lenovo recently posted some camera samples, claiming that they were clicked using the Z5s. The company also took a jab at its rival Xiaomi and said that the images are better than what the Mi 8 can capture. Reports suggest that Lenovo has already sent the Z5s to DxOMark labs for review and currently, Xiaomi Mi 8 is on the ninth spot with 99 points, on the DxOMark listing. It remains to be seen how much the Lenovo Z5s scores. An alleged hands-on video of the device surfaced online and it suggested at a punch-hole camera on the top of the display. However, this is not confirmed yet.
