Oppo A3s with 4,230 mAH battery, dual rear cameras launched in India
Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched the Oppo A3s affordable smartphone for Rs 10,990. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa core processor and is offered only in 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant. It sports a 6.2-inch ‘Super Full Screen’ with a notch and 88.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. Oppo says that it has upgraded its flux dispensing technology to further narrow down the border by 16 percent. The phone houses a 4,230 mAH battery and will be available in two colours: Red and Dark Purple. Oppo A3s will go on sale from July 15 on Flipkart, Amazon and PayTM as well as offline stores. “With A3s, we aim to deliver a phone with strong battery life. With advance features like dual-camera and Super Full Screen, this device has been designed to empower consumers to capture cherished moments all day long. The A3s truly represents our ambition to continue to be the Selfie Expert and a leader in the market,” Will Yang, Brand Director of Oppo India, said in a statement. The Oppo A3s features a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back and an 8MP AI-enabled front shooter. The company says that its AI Beauty Technology employs a cloud database from premium suppliers that have sufficient power to support diversified facial recognition in smart terminals. The technology is incorporated in the cameras to enhance the photography experience, and make photographs look realistic. The smartphone also has a ‘Music Party’ feature. With this feature, users can connect multiple smartphones, which have ColorOS 5.1 version or higher, to play the same track simultaneously. The company launched its much awaited Find X smartphone in India recently. The smartphone features a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio and and uses a mechanical slider that houses the front and rear cameras. The mechanism also houses a 3D Structured Face Recognition system for enabling Face Unlock. The Find X comes with 8GB RAM, paired with 128GB of internal storage.
