Facebook no longer takes a cut of Messenger games on Android
Facebook announced this week it’ll no longer be taking a cut of revenue on games played on the Android version of Messenger, due to the fact that Google’s already taking a fairly large piece of the pie. In an update on a group for developers of Instant Games — which you play directly from your Facebook News Feed — the official Instant Game page revealed updates to the monetization options: “We are focused on making the Instant Games platform an environment that is rooted in strong economics for our developer partners.” The update with regards to revenue is described thus:…
