Huawei distributes free power banks to people queued outside Apple store to buy the new iPhones

The batteries on the new iPhone Xs, Xs Max and Xr aren’t the most powerful ones out there. The iPhone Xs Max runs on a 3174mAh battery, while the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xr feature  2658mAh and 2942mAh batteries respectively. Compared to Android flagship devices which are regularly seen crossing the 3000mAh mark, Apple’s battery sizes have traditionally remained smaller and when it comes to mocking the Cupertino-based tech company on its flaws, Huawei has never been one to hold back. To troll Apple for the not-so-impressive battery sizes on the new iPhones, Huawei recently distributed 200 power banks to people queued up in front of the Apple store on Orchard Road in Singapore. As usual, Apple fans were waiting in line overnight to get their hands on the latest flagship phones from the company. Huawei seized the opportunity to mock Apple and on the cover of the power banks they distributed, the company wrote - “Here's a power bank, You'll need it. Courtesy of Huawei". As expected with free giveaways, some people reportedly also chased the Huawei staff to get their free power banks. This is not the first time Huawei has mocked Apple. The Chinese smartphone-maker has been seen comparing its devices to iPhones in most of its global presentations, and it is not alone in doing so. Samsung is also known to strategically place its own ads outside Apple stores, especially targeted around the time of new iPhone launches. Source
