OnePlus 6T official poster leaks with new tagline, Waterdrop notch
An alleged “official poster” of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone, the OnePlus 6T, has been leaked by SlashLeaks and it suggests that the company may launch the smartphone with a new tagline. The image shows a smartphone with “Unlock The Speed” tagline, though, on the phone’s display, which is placed just below the new tagline in the poster, “Never Settle” can also be seen. The phone in the poster is also shown sporting a “Waterdrop” notch that we have already seen in previous leaks of the device. This development comes after a number of leaks have already claimed to have revealed the specs of the OnePlus 6T. The date of the smartphone's launch is not known yet but it is expected to be launched in October or November this year. The smartphone is confirmed to launch without the beloved headphones jack this time. It will reportedly feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with 2340x1080p resolution and is said to have a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is also rumoured to get an in-display fingerprint sensor. The tech may be available alongside the Face Unlock option. OnePlus may not tinker with the processor, RAM and local storage options and ship the smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with the Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB and 8GB RAM variants and 64GB/128GB/256GB of on-board storage options. When it comes to the camera, there is no clarity on the number of lenses that the rear module will have. While some reports have claimed that the smartphone will launch with a triple-camera setup, others have stuck to the dual-camera system. OnePlus may also rebrand its proprietary Dash Charge technology to Warp Charging as the company recently filed for a copyright for the new name. The OnePlus 6T is expected to launch with Android 9 Pie with OxygenOS layered on top.
