Xiaomi announces new slim TVs ranging from 32-inch to 65-inch

Xiaomi has launched new TVs under its Mi TV lineup. The new Xiaomi TVs have been launched in 32-inch, 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch screen sizes. They feature narrow bezels around the display. The new Mi TVs come with a Bluetooth-powered voice-enabled remote control, something we have seen on the Mi TVs launched in India. Under the hood, the TVs are powered by a quad-core 64-bit processor. The TVs come in different RAM and storage configurations. Let's break it down. 

The 32-inch TV is an HD ready TV and brings with it 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. The 43-inch TV is a full HD TV and packs 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. The 55-inch and 65-inch models come with 2GB RAM and 8GB storage and boast of a 4K resolution along with support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. All the TVs support Dolby Audio and DTS HD audio.

As we mentioned above, all the new TVs will run on Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI. The PatchWall UI is based on Android and in India, Xiaomi TV owners have started receiving the PatchWall 2.0 update. PatchWall 2.0 brings with it a new Dark and Light theme. There is also bundled content from Epic On. You can read more about the updated UI here. 

Coming back to the TVs launched in China, the 32-inch Mi TV is priced at 1,099 Yuan (Rs 11,500 approx. directly converted). The 43-inch variant is priced at 1,999 Yuan (Rs 20,800 approx. directly converted). The 55-inch Mi TV is priced at 2,999 Yuan (Rs 31,100 approx. directly converted) and the largest 65-inch model is priced at 3,999 Yuan (Rs 41,500 approx. directly converted). All the models are available in China and there is no word on whether these TVs will make their way to India.
